Elevate

This was supposed to be the second track off my EP that I was working on in 2019 but I have decided to release it as independent tracks.

So, track two of the 'Reshape EP' that ill stitch together with the next few songs.

I started Elevate just a bit over a year ago when I was really inspired by Haywyre's 'Context pt.1'. If you give that song a listen, you will definitely know what I am talking about. Back then life was pretty good, I was living in a new place, having a good time with friends and that really influenced this track.

The melody in the breakdown is a reference to one of my past music buddies Johann Regaya. A few years back when we released music on the same startup label, he wrote a few tracks which contained this melody and ever since it stuck with me, I really like it. I referenced it in one of my older tracks as well titled 'Mohavee'.
